Glacier National Park reopens after major storm



WEST GLACIER, Montana (KPAX) -- Glacier National Park has reopened after a winter storm caused severe damage - temporarily closing the park yesterday.

About 20 structures in the park were hit by falling trees including a vehicle and six homes.

Crews have been working to repair the damage and the park is now back open to visitors.

Falling tree's were also the culprit of several power outages throughout the flathead yesterday.

Over 9,000 Flathead County residents experienced the outages but Flathead Electric says the power is now restored in all areas.
