Weather-related power outage disrupts Q13 FOX signal for some viewers

SEATTLE -- A tree fell into power lines and caught fire near the Q13 FOX transmitter on Gold Mountain -- knocking out the TV signal to about 10-20 percent of over-the-air and satellite viewers.

The outage does not affect the over-the-air signal broadcast from Capitol Hill in Seattle.

Puget Sound Energy is working to restore power at the transmitter site.

As of 4:30 p.m. Sunday, the transmitter was broadcasting on low power.
