Car prowl suspects jump out of moving car, hide in Seattle cemetery (VIDEO)

SEATTLE -- Police arrested two suspects who jumped from a moving stolen car and tried to hide in a cemetery late Friday night.

According to detectives, officers spotted the stolen vehicle in north Seattle while on an Anti-Violence Emphasis patrol. The car is thought to be connected to a number of recent crimes in the area.

Police said the suspects saw police and jumped out of the car. Officers stopped the SUV that was still moving down the street and then followed the suspects to a nearby cemetery in Haller Lake.

The King County Sheriff's Guardian-1 Helicopter found the suspects hiding in the cemetery and directed officers to their location.

Police booked the 18-year-old driver into King County Jail for investigation of theft and eluding, and the 19-year-old passenger for obstruction and a warrant.

Investigators said more charges could be on the way as evidence is processed.
