Two die in Idaho Army National Guard helicopter crash

(CNN) -- An Idaho Army National Guard helicopter with two crewmen on board crashed south of the Boise Airport Thursday night.  Both were killed.

The Apache helicopter went down two miles south of the Boise Airport, said Col. Timothy Marsano, a Guard spokesman.

The type of helicopter that crashed, the Apache, has been in service since the mid-1980s.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
