MARYSVILLE, Wash —  Marysville-Pilchuck High School shooting survivor Nate Hatch returned  home from the hospital Thursday.

Harborview Medical Center confirmed to Q13 FOX News that Hatch had been discharged.

And Nate tweeted this Thursday night:

Hatch was one of the students hit when his fellow student and friend, Jaylen Fryberg, opened fire during lunch Oct. 24.

The family issued the following statement after Hatch’s release:

“We appreciate all the amazing support we have received from the community. We are grateful for the top-notch care Nate received from the team at Harborview Medical Center. Our hearts and prayers go out to all the families who have been affected by this horrific tragedy.  Please allow us the privacy we need to continue on the road of recovery. Thank you.”

Fryberg, 14, opened fire on five classmates before killing himself. Three of those victims — Gia Soriano, Zoe Galasso and Shaylee, all 14 — have died.

Andrew Fryberg, 15, also survived but remains in critical condition at the hospital with a head wound.

Hatch suffered a gunshot wound to his jaw.

Hatch has used Twitter to communicate publicly while in the hospital.

Earlier this week he tweeted a photo of singer Macklemore visiting him.
