EVERETT, Wash. — Two teenage girls who were shot in the head in the shooting at Marysville Pilchuck High School were in critical condition and fighting for their lives Friday night at Providence Regional Medical Center, authorities said.

Following their surgeries, the girls were to be closely monitored throughout the night, with more than one neurological check every hour. That means nurses will check for any kind of movement or seizures.

Two other shooting survivors were taken to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center.

They have been identified as 15-year-old Andrew Fryberg, who is a cousin of the suspected shooter, and 14-year-old Nate Hatch. Fryberg was in critical condition Friday night with a gunshot wound to his head, while Hatch was in serious condition from a gunshot wound to his jaw.

Nate’s grandfather, Don Hatch, said,  “The only thing I can think of is he turned his body when that shot come, because if he would have took it straight on, he probably wouldn`t be here.”

That makes absolutely zero sense, and shame on you for using a tragedy to defend your backward opinions. Go crawl back in your hole with your guns, moron. This isn’t about you.
