Omg this is so sad. My heart is breaking for my friends and family that go to that school. I went there. I am at a loss for words. I just moved from Marysville to Wichita Kansas. My prayers are with the students that were injured and there families and to the shooters family and to many others that were effected by this. The town of Marysville will never be the same.

Ask yourselves as a nation, just what the rest of the world thinks of your gun culture. Put it this way. I saw a grown man one time, riding a motorcycle while wearing a German WW2 helmet. He also had the tatts and insignia of the same all over him. I thought to myself that yes, he has every right to look just as he wants but I asked myself the question, “Could I ever at any time in my life (whether it be today, tomorrow or in decades to come), could I ever take this person seriously”? That is a similar question I ask when I look at a nation which spills over with guns. What are you so afraid of that you need to be armed to the teeth about? Aliens or your own people or both? Bit sad wouldn’t you think? We too out in the rest of the world, are heartily sick of hearing of yet one more school shooting after another, coming out of guess where again! OK?

My daughter, Emily, is a current student there.. it’s utterly surreal watching the footage on CNN and recognizing buildings and stuff.. she’s unharmed, but I haven’t yet been able to ask if she witnessed any of it. . I pray she didn’t. . It’s gonna be a rough time dealing with this period, let alone if she saw it happening 😦
