Man shot in ankle, police search for shooter in black BMW

SEATTLE – Police are investigating after a man was shot in the ankle Thursday morning in Seattle’s Rainier Valley.

Police were called to the 2700 block of Rainier Ave south around 11:30 a.m. to reports of a shooting.

When they arrived on scene they said they found a 40-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center where Seattle Fire said he was listed in stable condition.

Police were searching for the shooter who they described as a 20-year-old Hispanic man in a black BMW.
