72-year-old substitute teacher arrested after child porn found on computer, police say

WOODINVILLE -- A 72-year-old substitute teacher was arrested recently after computer technicians allegedly uncovered child pornography on his computer.

According to the Kirkland Police Department, the teacher -- who substitutes for the Northshore School District -- dropped off his computer for repair at a Kirkland computer shop Wednesday. Repair technicians uncovered what they believed to be photos of child pornography on the computer's hard drive and called Kirkland police.

Police served a search warrant to the the teacher's home in the 19400 block of 194th Avenue in Woodinville, and he was arrested on suspicion of child pornography possession.

The case is still being investigated.
