Chrysler recalls 184,000 SUVs with airbag problem

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Fiat Chrysler is recalling 184,000 SUVs for a prolbme that could prevent the airbags from deploying.

The models affected are the 2014 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee. The company said a potential short-circuit may disable the airbags, activating the warning light. Fiat Chrysler said it is unaware of any injuries or accidents tied to the problem.

In April the company announced a recall of the 2014 Grand Cherokees and Durangos to fix a brake problem. The latest problem is similar to a recent recall of 850,000 cars by rival Ford Motor.
