WATCH THIS: Eastside firefighters use 'Jaws of Life' to save deer stuck in fence

SAMMAMISH -- Eastside Firefighters Engine 81 responded to SE 20th and 208th Place in Sammamish Monday afternoon to find a deer who had been stuck between a metal fence for several minutes, according to bystanders.

Firefighters protected the deer with their own safety coats as they used the Jaws of Life to bend and cut the metal and free the deer.

The deer then ran off into the distance with no apparent injuries, the firefighters' Facebook page said.
