Seattle firefighters rescue man mistakenly emptied from dumpster into dump truck

SEATTLE – Emergency crews were called to Capitol Hill early Thursday morning to reports of a person stuck in a dump track.

When a heavy rescue crew arrived at 11th and Pike Street they were able to get the man out of the truck very quickly.

Fire officials said the man was apparently in a dumpster when it had been dumped into the truck.

That man was reportedly ‘alert and oriented’ according to tweets from the Fire Department.

The man was sent to Harborview Medical Center by ambulance.
