Loudest stadium in the world? Kansas City Chiefs fans take back title (temporarily)

KANSAS CITY -- The Kansas City Chiefs fans took back the title of loudest stadium in the world.

According to the Boston Globe, the crowd on hand for the Chiefs' Monday night game against the New England Patriots registered a 142.2 on the decibel scale, surpassing the 137.6 registered by a Seahawks crowd set at CenturyLink Field last season.

The Kansas City Chiefs fans' record Monday night came in the second quarter.

Seattle’s next chance to reclaim the record is Oct. 12 against the Cowboys.
