SEATTLE -- Some Seattle students got to take part in a unique taste test Friday.
About 150 students sampled meals that could, eventually, ended up on school lunch trays.
The taste-testers included fifth-graders from John Hay and third-graders from South Shore elementary schools.
"Whatever that yellow stuff is, I don't like it," one student said.
Another student said, "Most people don't like the turkey dogs. So, to be honest, I don't like it" either.
They got to taste the food, take a vote and tour the district's central kitchen, said Wendy Weyer, director of the district's Nutrition Services.
