Scott Geddis: Crime Stoppers tips help identify prolific car thief wanted in Seattle

WANTED IN SEATTLE -- An accused prolific car thief who's been breaking into secured parking garages in north Seattle is no longer a mystery. In August, we showed video of him loading up a stolen car with stuff he'd taken from other vehicles at an apartment complex on Stone Way N. Crime Stoppers tips identified him as Scott Geddis, and now he needs to be found.

His criminal history includes an astonishing 23 felonies including weapons, burglary, and car theft -- like the black Nissan 300ZK he was caught on camera stealing that belonged to Brad Leonard. "So when I actually went down to the parking garage and saw it, or didn`t see it there, it was one of those double takes where you actually close your eyes and open them again thinking that maybe you didn`t see it right. You can`t believe it."

Stealing Leonard’s car is one of the three felonies Geddis is charged with. He has a $30,000 warrant out for his arrest. if you know where he's hiding, call an anonymous tip into: CRIME STOPPERS: 1-800-222-TIPS You must call the Crime Stoppers hotline with your tip to be eligible to receive a cash reward for information leading to a fugitive’s arrest.
