Police: Woman threatens employees with 'foot measuring tool' in Niketown robbery

SEATTLE -- Two women got away with bags of clothes from the Niketown store in downtown Seattle after threatening employees with a metal device used to measure your foot, police said.

Detectives said two women entered the Niketown on the 1500 block of 6th Avenue and started stuffing clothes and other items into shopping bags. One employee called 9-1-1 after noticing the suspicious behavior.

One of the suspects saw a group of employees standing near the exit, grabbed the foot measuring device and threatened them with it as they fled the store.

Police said the two suspects got into a white Ford Escape with out-of-state license plates and took off. No further description was provided.
