A dream come true: Student takes the 'purr-fect' yearbook picture

When students take their pictures for the school yearbook, you typicaly see a sea of smiling faces.

But one high school senior in New York wanted to take pose with his cat... in front of a background of laser beams, according to The Daily Gazette,

Draven Rodriguez said  he wanted to be different and standout from the other yearbook pictures.

Rodriguez made the picture a reality, but the school had never told him he couldn't use the photo.

School administrators told The Daily Gazette that the photo will not appear in the portraits section, but “there are other places in the yearbook where those photos can be placed.”
