Neighbor helps police catch 3 suspected burglars on Beacon Hill

SEATTLE -- A watchful neighbor noticed two young men checking windows and knocking on the front door of a home next door.

The witness saw the men enter the home around 1:30 p.m. Friday on the 3000 block of S. Willow Street. The witness told officers they were wearing latex gloves when they went inside and later came out with a duffel bag.

Police surrounded the area and found the suspect vehicle thanks to a description from the alert neighbor.

Officers arrested the two 17-year-old suspects and a 23-year-old getaway driver.

Police returned the stolen property and impounded the suspect's car for further investigation.
