The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall Tuesday for the Brita hard-sided water filter bottle for kids.

The bottles stand six inches tall and hold 15 ounces of liquid. Models come featuring Dora the Explorer, Hello Kitty, SpongeBob Square Pants or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The CPSC says each bottle has a white lid that screws off with a fold-up straw and filter that sits inside the straw below the lid. The Brita brand name is clearly visible on the side of each bottle.

At least 35 reports have been received of the lids breaking or cracking, but so far no serious injuries have been reported.

If your child has one of these bottles the CPSC says you should call Brita at 800-926-2065 or visit Brita.com and click on Safety Recall.
