Fight between neighbors ends in shotgun blast and arrest

SEATTLE -- A fight between neighbors quickly escalated Wednesday after one of them fired a shotgun after police were called to intervene.

Police said the argument started inside an apartment building in the 100 block of 6th Ave N in the Queen Anne neighborhood but quickly spilled out onto the street.

Officers were called around 9:30pm and say when they arrived they found one man with a shotgun. That man fired off a least one round.

At that point police say they called for backup.

The 26-year-old man with the shotgun did eventually surrender and was arrested.

His apartment was searched to ensure there was no one else involved.

Luckily no one was hurt in the incident. No word on what sparked the fight between the neighbors.
