SEAHAWKS: Okung, Chancellor, Lynch all take part in practice

RENTON, Wash. -- The Seahawks got back to business in training camp Tuesday as they prepare for Friday night's home preseason game against the San Diego Chargers.

Several players who were on the mend practiced Tuesday, including starting left tackle Russell Okung, who had offseason surgery on his left foot, and Kam Chancellor, who had offseason hip surgery.

Also, Marshawn Lynch was running pass routes out of the backfield in practice, and coach Pete Carroll said while Lynch looks "very good," he's not sure he'll play in Friday night's preseason game.

Fans packed the VMAC Tuesday, which was the last day that training camp was open to the public.

Carroll also took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge to help raise awareness for ALS, known as Lou Gehrig`s disease.

The challenge is run through social media, using the hashtag #ice-bucket-challenge.

After posting videos of themselves getting doused with ice water, participants nominate others to take the plunge and keep the cycle going. If those challenged don’t accept within 24 hours, they’re asked to donate to ALS research or to the charity of their choice.

USC head coach Steve Sarkisian called out Carroll a few days, and Tuesday morning NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell nominated Carroll to get soaked again.

Donations have been pouring in.  The ALS Association has collected $1.35 million from July 29 to Aug. 11.
