SEATAC -- Deputies hope the public can help locate a suspected burglar who entered an occupied house before fighting with officers and running away.

Police are searching for 19-year-old Wilson Laray Smith, a convicted felon. According to the King County Sheriff's Office, Smith entered a home where a mother and child were sleeping in SeaTac on July 29 and tried to burglarize the property.

The women spotted Smith and his partner, deputies said, and called 911. Deputies came to the scene and shot at the other burglar after attempting to Tase him, police said. Smith took off on foot and was not located.

Smith is described as a black male, 5'09", 150 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He is likely aware that detectives are looking for him.
