Help cops find this 12-time convicted felon wanted for armed home invasion

Robert James

PIERCE COUNTY -- Robert James is accused of an armed home invasion in Spanaway.

"The suspect in this case is extremely dangerous,” said Det. Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department. “In this particular case he was armed when they did a residential robbery. He and his partners went in, pointed guns at the home occupants, took their TV, jewelry, anything of value before fleeing. This is somebody who's going to continue to do this and hopefully we won't get anybody hurt before we get him caught."

Detectives say James was identified from a fingerprint he'd left on a bottle of alcohol at the apartment.

He has long hair in his mug shot, but detectives say it's likely short now.

He's 31 years old, 5’6”, 160 pounds, and known to hangout around Tacoma, Parkland, and Spanaway.

This new photo shows the tattoo 12-time felon, Robert James has on his right cheek.
