WSP: Motorcyclist fleeing troopers crashes 68-feet off highway, lands in creek below

ISSAQUAH -- A motorcyclist trying to outrun the cops launched off an I-90 off-ramp and fell nearly 70 feet to the creek below Wednesday, Washington State Patrol troopers said.
The motorcyclist was seriously injured in the crash. Another motorcyclist also eluding police is still on the loose, police said.
Troopers tried to pull over two motorcycle drivers on eastbound Interstate 90 sometime after noon, Trooper Chris Webb said, but the drivers sped off. The trooper engaged in chase for a short time before turning off emergency lights and stopping the pursuit near Issaquah.
But the drivers continued at a high rate of speed. One did not negotiate a turn on the Highlands Drive exit ramp properly, troopers said, causing him to crash.
The driver launched off the off-ramp and landed 68-feet down in a creek below.
The other driver continued on and is still being sought by police.
Troopers and aid workers were on the scene and they had reached the driver who had crashed. The Ducati 749 appeared completely destroyed.
