5 rollovers in 6 hours across King County: 11 people hurt

KING COUNTY -- At least 11 people were hurt in four separate rollovers early Sunday morning in King County.
According to Washington State Patrol, six people were hurt in a rollover crash around 3:30 a.m. on I-5 northbound near Lake City Way.

Witnesses told troopers they saw the car speeding down the freeway at 80 - 90 mph before the driver swerved and lost control.
The car crashed into the guard rail and rolled with six people inside. All of them were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Troopers suspect alcohol was a factor in this crash.
Two lanes of northbound I-5 were closed for several hours.
Mercer crash

Two hours later, an SUV rolled on northbound I-5 near Mercer Street.
Troopers said five young men inside the car were hurt.
The 18-year-old driver was taken into custody for investigation of vehicular assault.

Witnesses said the red pickup truck was driving "aggressively and recklessly" before the crash. They told troopers the driver intentionally brake-checked another car, rear-ended it, and the truck rolled.
Nobody was seriously hurt in this crash.
WSP has a Target Zero campaign this weekend with a goal of zero fatalities on area highways.
