Tree into wires knocks out power to 2,300 in NE Seattle

SEATTLE -- A tree into some wires caused a power outage Saturday morning in northeast Seattle, according to City Light.

About 2,300 homes and businesses lost power shortly after 10:00 a.m. near 52nd Street and Ravenna.

Crews restored power to several hundred people by early afternoon.

Electricity is estimated to be restored by 5:45 p.m.
