AUBURN — Four adult residents were able to evacuate their mobile home in south Auburn after it caught fire Tuesday night, officials said.

The mobile home, in the Tall Cedars Mobile Home Park at 401 37th St. SE, Auburn, was a total loss,  Valley Regional Fire Authority officials said.

When VRFA firefighters arrived at the scene of the fire, flames and smoke had engulfed approximately half of the home. Fortunately, two women and two men had evacuated the residence.  The fire was extinguished quickly, but the home was destroyed.

One man sustained minor burns and was transported to a local hospital.
