Richard Sherman on team’s attitude: ‘You would think we went 0-16′

RENTON, Wash. — Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman says an ‘internal fire’ among the players will prevent the team from taking games for granted this season. “You would think we went 0-16,” he says of his teammates’ attitude.

In Part 2 of an exclusive interview with Q13 FOX Sports Director Aaron Levine that aired Monday night, Sherman was asked how he goes about resetting for this season after achieving the ultimate goal last season.

“You forget,” Sherman said succinctly.

I love it how non-12’s think they know the Seahawks players. We know our players, Do not underestimate Richard Sherman’s intelligence & savvy. He will show how much ‘… better at life …’ he is than most.. Ask, Skip Bayless for his experience in doubting Richard Sherman.

He’s not saying anything negative…he’s saying they don’t have the attitude that this season will come easy just because they are Superbowl Champs. It’s an attitude that Pete had all season last year…one game at a time…never feel comfortable in your wins…(I hate it when people comment based off of just the title of an article)

You can never underestimate the value of morale. The ‘Hawks have been riding high since last season began, and they need to maintain that level of positivity throughout this season if they seek to take the Lombardi again.

I love this guy (Sherman.) I have loved him since his rant against the ’49ers in the playoffs last year. He put his money where his mouth is, and he anted up.
