Seahawks sign former Giants CB Terrell Thomas

SEATTLE -- The Seahawks have signed former New York Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas, who was drafted in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft but whose career has been plagued by knee injuries.

ESPN's Terry Blount said Thomas' agent, Doug Hendrickson, confirmed the signing.

And Thomas confirmed it later with this tweet:

Thomas, who played for Pete Carroll at USC, had 67 tackles last season with the Giants before becoming a free agent.

During the 2009-10 seasons, Thomas had a total of 10 interceptions, five forced fumbles and 34 passes defensed.
