Police arrest man accused of robbing two women at gunpoint; 2nd suspect sought

FEDERAL WAY -- Police arrested a suspect Friday accused of robbing two women at gunpoint, but officers are still searching for a second suspect.

The suspects robbed two women at gunpoint shortly after 9:00 p.m. on the 2900 block of south Snoqualmie Street in the Beacon Hill neighborhood, police say.

The women were walking across a parking lot when one of the suspects approached them and threatened to shoot. Police say the suspects took both of their purses and necklaces. One of the victim's may have suffered a broken finger.

Police say the suspects took off in a car causing a collision.

Later that night, officers in Federal Way spotted the suspect's car and tried to pull them over. Police arrested one of the two suspects after a short pursuit.

Officers booked the suspect into King County Jail.
