MADISON, North Carolina — Dogs are called man’s best friend for a reason. Well, in this case — baby’s best friend.

11-week-old baby Eisleigh and 8-week-old Pitbull puppy named Clyde have a fantastic relationship, according to Brandi Leigh Hodges’ YouTube video.

Both the video and several photos posted to Instagram have been shared all over the Internet.

“Clyde was connected to Eisleigh as soon as we picked him up,” Hodges told WGHP. “Surely he wasn’t aware what was happening to him. He climbed into Eisleigh’s car seat and snuggled with her the whole way home. It seemed very comforting to him. To both of them really… it was love at first sight, oddly enough.”

If the dog is raised right it will be that big of a baby it’s entire life, but it will also kill or die to protect her.

Awwww.. so cute and harmless… Those little Pit Bulls are so misunderstood! Poor babies.. just like siblings, as they get older, when these two fight… will one eat the other?

You know, its funny. Pit bull supporters say you can’t tell a pitbull by sight. So is that NOT a pitbull? They also say kids and pitbulls get along great, yet the minute a pitbull mauls or kills a child (which is OFTEN), they blame the child and the parents for not keeping the dog away from the child. They can’t have it ALL of these ways, sorry. The only thing I can conclude from they contradictory positions is that a) they hate children and want them mauled and dead, and b) they want to save this breed at ALL costs.

They use their tiny children as a tool to polish the pitbull reputation. I cringe every time a new photo is posted. While all the parents that now say (my pitbull never showed any aggression before this??) club grows.

Love pit bulls. Glad to see their reputation finally changing. Sure, there will always be haters, but haters are negative people that cannot possibly see the good in anything. feel bad for haters and their negative outlooks. Thankfully, haters have very little influence on society, because only a negative person will willing feed off another negative person.

And it can grow up and kill the child or make it look like a FREAK for life. Cinncinatti child just lost HER TONGUE to a pitbull attack. THINK of who spends the $$$ to keep these promtions of the dog fighting breed going? Um.. dog fighters who like drug dealers don’t give a hoot what happens to any one
