Wade Cole Dickinson: U.S. Marshals on hunt for bold Arizona jail escapee

CAMP VERDE, Arizona - The U.S. Marshals announced they are joining the manhunt for an Arizona inmate who committed a brazen escape from the Yavapai County Jail on July 12. The inmate, Wade Cole Dickinson, who was recently sentenced to more than 24 years in prison for fraud, drugs and possession of a firearm, was in custody at the county jail awaiting transfer to a state prison when he managed to climb a facility wall and flee. Dickinson is now a federal fugitive and charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. “Our deputies have the ability to reach worldwide to locate and arrest violent fugitives,” said U.S. Marshal David Gonzales, District of Arizona. “We will work tirelessly with our law enforcement partners to bring this fugitive back to justice.” Dickinson is 6 foot tall, weighs 190 pounds, and is an experienced mixed martial arts trainer. He is considered a danger to the community and should not be approached. Authorities believe he may have changed his appearance to avoid detection. If anyone has any information on the escape or location of Dickinson, please contact the Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232. A $5,000 reward is being offered from Silent Witness and the U.S. Marshals Service has added a $2,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of Dickinson.
