RENTON -- Police are searching for a Renton woman suspected of dousing her husband in gasoline and setting him on fire.

According to the Renton Police Department, a 52-year-old man walked into a store around 8 a.m. in and asked the clerk to call for help. The man told the clerk his wife lit him on fire at a nearby apartment complex.

Help arrived and took him to Harborview Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening burns.

Detectives have now identified the victim's wife, Tatanysha Hedman, as the suspect. She has not been found.

Hedman is described as 5-foot and 170 pounds with dark hair. She may be driving an older red pickup truck -- possibly a vintage 1970s Chevrolet.

If you know where she is or have any information, call 9-1-1 or contact the Renton Police Department.
