Isolated storms roll through but heat continues

Summer heat continues this week with some relief by Thursday. Tonight will be muggy with isolated thunderstorms. Most of these storms will stay in the foothills and mountains but a clap of thunder should be heard across the lowlands and the Metro through Midnight. Very little rain will be associated with the storms but the wind gusts will be strong when one passes. Remember the rule of lightning and thunder is 5 to 1. The flash and within 5 seconds you hear thunder that means the storm is a mile away or less. Hot weather remains the story through Wednesday. Walter 7/13/14
