COLUMBIA, Mo. — A server at a Red Lobster restaurant left a grieving widow a heartwarming note.

KSDK.com reports the server at the Columbia, Missouri restaurant decided to pick up the tab for the woman after her husband passed away in March.

A Reddit user posted the note online -- saying his parents went to Red Lobster every year for their anniversary for 31 years.

After the woman’s husband died, she came back to eat at the restaurant. Instead of giving the widow her tab, the server left her a note:

“We are sorry to hear about your husband’s passing, but we appreciate your loyalty in spending 31 years of your anniversary with us. For your appreciation your meal is on us! We look forward to spending your next anniversary with us! Sincerely, Red Lobster & your server, Taylor.”
