Police: Man shot twice outside Seattle bar

SEATTLE -- A man was shot twice outside of a bar early Saturday morning in the Westlake neighborhood.

Seattle police responded to a call about a bar fight around 2:00 a.m. in the 700 block of Westlake Avenue North.

Witnesses told police a car of people thought involved in the fight had just left. Patrol officers stopped that car, but occupants said they only heard the shots.

Officers found five bullet casings at the scene.

Later that morning, a man showed up at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He had gunshot wounds in his leg and buttocks, officials said.

The victim told investigators he saw a fight, and then heard and felt the shots.
