(KDVR) — Stephen Spielberg: dinosaur murderer?

A self-described internet humorist Jay Branscomb posted a photo of the “Jurassic Park” director with a “dead dinosaur” — a prop from one of his films — to Facebook with the following joke:

“Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man.”

Branscomb assumed people would understand that, for many reasons, it would be impossible for Spielberg to kill a triceratops.

But apparently, he assumed wrong. Tens of thousands of people jumped on the photo. While many seemed to be in on the joke, many also called for Spielberg to be punished for killing the animal.

They call for everything from prison time to threatening to never watch his movies again.

The idea that there is a dinosaur is more believable than someone from Hollywood is a hunter. If he had killed it by getting hammered and plowed into it with his exotic car, that would made the nightly news and he would get a reality show.

No one believes its real. Just people making sarcastic comments and jokes on a picture that was a joke. Whats disturbing is the thousands of comments calling people stupid. That's the sad part.

First of all I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.

I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear
your mind before writing. I have had difficulty clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there.
I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any
    suggestions or hints? Kudos!
