Hey dude, where's the legal weed?

SEATTLE -- Say it ain't so, Joe...

Seattle's first store selling recreational marijuana, Cannabis City, had to shut its doors Friday because its supply is gone -- three days after the grand opening of legal pot shops.

And it will stay that way for at least the next 10 days.

Not enough marijuana growers have been approved by the state, so customers will now have to wait. Or for other stores in other areas to open.

"Surprised?" asked Dan Law, visiting from Chicago. "Well, no, I saw online there was a shortage. Not too surprised. Disappointed, though."

Cannabis City in Seattle's Sodo district sold 11 pounds of marijuana since Tuesday.

It's being reported that the first three days of pot sales statewide brought in nearly $150,000 in excise taxes.
