Court documents: Man killed Seatac Airport coworker in fight over work equipment
SEATTLE -- One person is dead and another is in jail following a fight between airline employees Saturday at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, King County District Court documents obtained by Q13FOX News show.
According to probable cause documents, a 27-year-old contract worker for Korean Air got into an argument with a Korean Air employee regarding a piece of work equipment Saturday morning at the Seatac Airport.
The argument quickly escalated, and the 27-year-old allegedly slapped the other worker, causing him to fall back on the concrete ground and hit his head.
The slapped worker lost consciousness, and was taken to a local hospital in critical condition with a cracked skull that needed surgery. He later died.
The 27-year-old allegedly confessed to hitting his fellow worker in the face. He is being held in King County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail and is under investigation for second-degree murder.
The deadline for filing charges against the man is Wednesday.
