SEATTLE -- A naked man allegedly high on LSD broke into a home and preached scripture to the home's residents before being arrested early Tuesday, police said.

According to the Seattle police, a husband, wife and two young children were asleep inside their home in the 400 block of Lake Washington Boulevard just before  2 a.m. when they heard a loud crash near their front door. When the husband went to check it out, he found a naked man near their front door who allegedly began loudly reciting scripture.

The husband grabbed a baseball bat to protect his wife and small children while the wife called 911, and the man left before police arrived.

Officers called to the home spotted the naked man running down the street, talking to himself, Seattle police said. They chased the nude man for some time before they were able to corral him.

The 20-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He allegedly admitted to taking LSD, and was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment before being booked into the King County Jail.
