Investigators hope new DNA clue leads to break in case of dead newborn

burping pad found with Baby Kimball

SEATTLE – State Patrol scientists say they have been able to develop a DNA profile from evidence found at the scene where a newborn baby was found dead in North Bend earlier this year.

Baby Kimball, as she has been called, was found February 12th near Kimball bridge.  Authorities have been searching for the newborn’s parents with no luck ever since.

This new DNA profile doesn’t match any in the WSP data base, but investigators are hopeful it could lead to a break in the case in the future.

Anyone with any information about Baby Kimball is asked to call King County Sheriff’s Office at 206.296.3311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
