Pedestrian seriously hurt in Kent hit-and-run crash

KENT -- Police are searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian Saturday night in Kent and fled the scene.

Officials say the man was crossing Kent Kangley Road near SE 256th Street just before 10:00 p.m. when a white 1990s sedan hit him and kept driving eastbound.

The 40-year-old Kent man suffered life-threatening injuries, but officials were able to stabilize him and take him to the hospital.
