SNOHOMISH COUNTY -- Two people were hurt in a bizarre crash that troopers say was caused by a man jumping out of an SUV near Marysville.

Troopers say a 16-year-old girl was driving a Chevy Tahoe with about ten people inside around 12:30 a.m. Saturday. They say the passenger, a 27-year-old man, jumped out of the SUV on State Route 9. That caused two other cars to swerve -- resulting in a three-car crash.

The 27-year-old man was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he is listed in critical condition.

A passenger in a Chevy Blazer was also hurt. The 66-year-old woman was treated at Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington.

Troopers say the 16-year-old driver is suspected of driving while high on marijuana. She could face numerous counts of reckless endangerment because of the number of people inside the SUV.
