Record-breaking heat yesterday, cooling off today

The high at Sea-Tac yesterday was 94, smashing the previous record for yesterday - 89, which was set last year.  Today will be about 15 degrees cooler.  We have a bit of a marine push with onshore flow today and we're starting out with some clouds this morning.  It should still be mostly sunny this afternoon with highs above normal -- close to 80 for Seattle.

Tomorrow and Friday - the 4th of July - look lovely.  We'll have some morning clouds with nice afternoon clearing and temps in the low-to-mid 70s.  Great for sitting out and waiting for the fireworks!

The weekend will be partly sunny with highs in the low-to-mid 70s.  We could have a brief shower on Sunday.  Monday and Tuesday of next week will feature morning clouds with afternoon sun and high in the mid 70s.  So nice!
