WATCH: Incredible near miss for a chunk of demolition debris and a man’s head

rock almost hits man

YouTube screen capture

CZECH REPUBLIC — A video of a building demolition in the Czech Republic is racking up views on YouTube because it seems to show a very close call for one of the spectators.

The building, the OP Prostějov clothing factory, can be seen imploding and then suddenly a large piece of debris flies out of the destruction headed right for the crowd gathered to watch the event.

The chunk of stone material seems to bounce off the ground and then whiz right by a man’s head.

At first glance the close call might not seem that bad, but when the video is slowed down you can see that the flying debris is the size of a cantaloupe.

No one in the video was reportedly hurt.

A cantaloupe?!? get real, it's about as big as a large orange or grapefruit, and it looked about equivalent to getting hit with a fastball.
