It's heating up: Highs in the mid-80s arriving tomorrow

SEATTLE -- High pressure coupled with a thermal trough (acts as a heat pump of sorts) will give us highs in the middle 80s Tuesday.

Both the high and the trough start to weaken on Wednesday so temperatures will drop to near 80 degrees.

Dry weather is expected through July Fourth, but marine air returns Thursday. This will give morning clouds and afternoon sunshine with highs falling back into the mid-70s by the end of the week.
