CHICAGO, Ill. — A contentious video out of Illinois has those searching for equal accountability of police sighing with relief.
A YouTube video posted by a trucker named Brian Miner captured an exchange between a trucker and an Illinois State Trooper. The trooper tells Miner he was being pulled over for unlawful use of the horn. However, Miner rebuffs him, saying he honked at the trooper who was allegedly on a cell phone while speeding.
It’s not until Miner tells the trooper that he is being recorded that the trooper’s demeanor dramatically changes. In the end, the trooper apologizes for speeding, saying he wasn’t paying attention.
What do you think of the video? Should the trooper be reprimanded?
