If you have a Facebook account, you could have been part of a massive psychological experiment conducted by the social media site.

Facebook says it manipulated the news feeds among nearly 700,000 users, according toDaily Mail, as part of a new study. The goal was to determine how the posts that users see affect their moods and their own posts.

A study by the PNAS Journal says seeing more negative posts caused positive responses, but also caused more negative posts by the users.

According to the study, “These results indicate that emotions expressed by others on Facebook influence our own emotions, constituting experimental evidence for massive-scale contagion via social networks.”

Ahhh Haaaa………….you know what this is an offshoot of?? That dreaded pukey thing we call…..POLITICAL CORRECTNESS!!!! People are so afraid of saying anything that will 'offend' anyone, so they just go along with what others think, simply because they don't want to looked down on or……which basically means, they are just plain afraid of what others think of them. They like the 'follow the crowd' syndrome!! Just like homosexuality………I do NOT agree with it, I do NOT support it, and I'm not afraid to tell anyone what I believe, be it here, or to your face. I simply hate following the crowd into believing what they want you to believe.

That's not what political correctness is. In the US, there is a crush on the idea of democracy, as if the majority is somehow morally correct. But realistically, the minority is always forced into compliance and so nobody wants to be a perceived outlier. Tyranny of the majority

Well, let me put it a little more simple……The 'minority' doesn't always get what it wants, and…..sometimes, the 'majority' can be morally right! Sometimes those moral issues are only too real, and it's too bad we've drifted away from morality, to the point that it's almost a "Let's make everything legal, then we won't have any crime", type of thing. So, the minority is forced into compliance of anything, that in itself, is not so bad, and………I totally disagree with you on the majority being 'tyrannical'!!! obammy is trying hard to make it that way, though. I would most certainly go with the "majority" over the other way around, though, like it's gotten to these days, where the many have to suffer because of the few! It just ain't supposed to be that way!!

Nothing new, what's the scandal we're used to being manipulated by the democrats news media, CNN, NBC,CBS,PBS they have been a social experiment for decades, take the coverage of BridgeGate constant coverage, but the IRS scandal among many other crimes by the president and his cronies are passed off as nothing by that media knowing full well if it was a conservative in power it would be our national obsession, so if your too stupid to understand that you're being manipulated then that's your problem.
