Rainy Friday, drying out this weekend

The promised cold front moved though a few hours earlier than the computer forecast models predicted. Hopefully that means the lingering showers will be out of here a few hours earlier too.

TODAY though still will be the wettest day of the week. Rain at times this morning becomes scattered showers with sunbreaks this afternoon. A bit cooler than the normal of about 72, I expect most places along the I-5 corridor will be about 65-70. TONIGHT scattered showers with overnight lows in the 50s.

SATURDAY I'm expecting a few showers to track across Western WA and Western OR. More so in the morning and the coast and Cascades have the best shot for the lingering moisture. High temps near 70.

SUNDAY I think there might be a lingering shower in the Cacasdes or along the Coast-- but otherwise dry and a mix of clouds & sun for the afternoon. That's good news for the outdoor Seattle Pride celebrations both under the needle and on Capitol Hill. High temperatures again near 70.

NEXT WEEK we really start to dry things out and warm things up. I think we'll be up close to 80 degrees by the middle of the week with lots more summer sunshine to kick off the month of July. 4TH OF JULY is around the corner and next weekend looks to be trending dry at this early look.
