2 people injured when car slams into Extended Stay

A crash at the Extended Stay in Bellevue.



BELLEVUE -- Two people were injured when a truck a man was driving slammed into a Bellevue Extended Stay.

Fire officials said around 12 p.m., a truck crashed into the Extended Stay hotel/motel in the 3700 block of 132nd Avenue SE. The driver of the truck was injured and transported to Harborview Medical Center. A Good Samaritan who helped the driver out the car was also transported to the hospital with possible smoke inhalation.

No one staying at the hotel was injured in the crash.

It is unknown what caused the crash, and police are investigating the incident.
